Bordeaux Vineyard Tour

2 day tours of visits and wine tasting in Medoc & St Emilion

This tour will bring you to main red wine regions of St Emilion and Medoc (Merlot & Carbernet wines). During these 2 days, visit some famous vineyards chateau Grands Crus Classes. Based on our local connection and expertise, we will arrange all the visits in order to give you a large overview of the different Bordeaux styles. You could also enjoy French regional cuisine for lunches in local gourmet restaurants. To give you the best experience, this tour is private, customized specifically for you and not scheduled for mixed group. You will explore the region in our private minivan with your personal guide and you will learn more about history and Bordeaux vineyards.

Day 1: St Emilion (Right bank / Merlot)


We will pick you up from Bordeaux and then start the tour in Saint Emilion region.

1-2 pm Welcome at train station or airport (private vehicle & personal guide)
Driven sightseeing around St Emilion vineyards
Guided tour of the medieval village
Visit & tasting in a St Emilion Classified Growth
5:30/6pm Return to Bordeaux & overnight at your hotel in Bordeaux.

Day 2: Medoc, Margaux & Pauillac (Left bank / Cabernet)


This day is more focus on the famous chateaux of the left bank of Bordeaux. You will visit and taste in some of them and experience a gourmet lunch in a local restaurant. A driven sightseeing will also show you all the famous vineyards of the Medoc as Lafite, Latour, Margaux, Palmer ...

Can be in a hotel, attractive private guest house or boutique hotel (depending on availability). Located in Bordeaux close from all the main centers of interest, we have selected it on quality, services & strict standards of comfort.

Note:
Visits are not private & only by appointment. Chateaux visited & schedules depend on availabilities but most of them are members of "Union des Grands Crus de Bordeaux" which is a mark of quality. We can only confirm visited properties after your payment and a definitive itinerary will be sent to you before your arrival. Usually a tour with wine tasting takes around 1h/1h30 and they propose 2 different wines from the estate. Chateaux & wineries are closed from 12am until 2pm.

The left bank (Medoc)

is renowed all over the world for its famous vienyards and Chateaux Grands Crus Classes. Wine lovers are coming here to tour the vineyards and taste their wines but also to learn more about the wineries and the wine production.
During this day trip, your tour-guide will explain you about the history of the region, the classification of 1855 and will drive you all around to show the beautiful and famous vineyards.
You will also enjoy a nice lunch in on of the gourmet restaurant and test the local gastronomy.



The right bank (Saint-Emilion)

This half day of excursion will be your introduction to the Bordeaux wines. Visiting St Emilion is always a nice experience as the medieval village is one of the most beautiful one in the region and the vineyards surrounding are also very unique and classify as Unesco worl heritage.
You will experience merlot wines during a visit and a tasting in one chateaux.
