Visit and taste in 2 different Chateaux Grands Crus Classes during a private tour.

This afternoon half day wine tour is a very good way to discover the different Medoc wine (Cabernet) and its famous Châteaux Grands Crus Classes. A sightseeing will show you the most prestigious and beautiful estates (Lafite, Latour, Margaux, Palmer ...). The places visited are all very different, giving you the chance to taste few class of wines. During this excursion you could visit & do wine tasting in two distinct vineyards. Guided tours with a specialist will make you discover terroir, appellation, vat room, ageing cellar and all the winemaking process from the grape to the glass. You will explore the region in a private minivan driven by your personal tour guide.

Objective of this tour : To allow the wine lovers from all over the world to taste Pauillac & Margaux wines and visit some of the Bordeaux most famous top estates. You will learn about the main Bordeaux appellations, blend variety, terroir, classification, AOC ...

Note : Let us know in your request if you have a preference for specific wineries. Visits are not private & only by special arrangement. Chateaux visited & schedule depend on availabilities. We can only confirm visited properties after your payment and a definitive itinerary will be sent to you before your arrival. Usually a tour with wine tasting takes around 1h/1h30 and they propose 2 wines from the estate. Chateaux & wineries are closed from 12am until 2pm.

Medoc is one of the most famous wine region in the world because of the legendary vineyards and Chateaux located there as Lafite Rothschild, Mouton Rothschild, Palmer, Chateau Margaux ...
In this region, the cabernet sauvignon is blended with the merlot and it creates a very complex wines full of aromas of blackberry, red fruits, vanilla with delicate and soft tanins.
