We have selected for you the best visits & wine tasting in 3 famous Medoc region (Margaux, Pauillac, Saint Julien...) and top Chateaux Grands Crus Classes of 1855. Explore the region in a private minivan with your personal guide and learn more about history and Bordeaux wines. A driven sightseeing on the famous "Castle Road" will show you some of the most beautiful and prestigious one as Chateau Margaux, Lafite, Latour, Mouton ... Follow the steps of Thomas Jefferson !
Option 1 Special Tasting at Rauzan Segla Wine Store (€ 15 pp)
This wine store specialized in Bordeaux Grand Cru Classe, old vintage and rare wines offers a special wine tasting. Leaded by a Bordeaux wines specialist you will taste at least 2 Grand Cru Classe + 2 others one from the Medoc region. A good way to experience and compare few different wines in the same place. This option comes instead of the last visit.
Option 2 Upgrade your Tasting (€ 150 pp)
Want more wines? The regular visit & tasting includes usually 2 wines. For some more fees, some vineyards offer to upgrade their tasting with either old vintages, vertical tasting or barrel tasting. Choose this option if you want to experience more wines during the visits.

The 1855 Classification was requested by Emperor Napoleon III to present the most famous Bordeaux wines at the Paris Universal
exhibition. To follow up on the Emperor's request, the Bordeaux brokers ranked the wines in 5 levels according to a chateau's reputation and trading price.
