The right bank (Saint-Emilion)

In the 8th century, a Breton named Émilion born in Britany and famous for his miracles, decided to leave his homeland to retire and dedicate himself to prayer. He founded an underground cave in the region and decided to leave alone as an ermite.

The numerous monasteries, convents and churches still present in the region show that many religious communities settled in the village over the centuries. They were attracted by the cult of Émilion.

This wine region is also famous all over the world for the quality of the merlot that they produce. Very fruity on the clay it develops more mineral taste when it growths on the lomestone. During this day tour you will have the chance to test some of them.

We also offer private day tour to St-Emilion or if you are interested in spirits to Cognac.
