During this day you could visit the St Emilion vineyard & taste in different Chateaux. This vineyard is the Merlot kingdom. Easy to drink young, it gives a taste of red fruit, old it is more complex with animal & vegetal flavors. St Emilion is also a gorgeous medieval village.

Objective of this tour : You will learn about the wine making process from the grape to the glass and taste the characteristic of the St Emilion & Pomerol wines. What are the main differences between the Bordeaux appellations, what is the terroir, blend, classification, AOC ? You will know the answers to all these questions.

Note : Visits are not private, chateaux & schedule depend on availabilities but most of them are members of "Union des Grands Crus de Bordeaux" which is a wage of quality. We can only confirm visited properties after your payment and a definitive itinerary will be sent to you before your arrival. Usually a tour with wine tasting takes around 1h/1h30 and they propose 2 different wines from the estate. Chateaux & wineries are closed from 12am until 2pm.

Saint-Emilion the vineyard and the landscape are listed by the UNESCO as World Heritage. Just a handful of wonderful highlights are honoured by such a distinction.
