Option 1 : (by default) Guided tour & wine tasting in a Pauillac 1855 Classified Growth
A guided tour with a specialist (or some times the owner-winemaker)
will make you discover terroir, appellation, vat room, ageing cellar and
all the winemaking process from the grape to the glass. A commented wine tasting will close the visit.
A sommelier will be your teacher during this course and you will be able to discover
the characteristics of each Bordeaux vineyard grape variety (Merlot, Cabernet
Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc & Petit Verdot). Taste each one separately then make you own blending and compare
your wine with the Chateau's one.
Option 3 (75€/p) : Improve your wine tasting by Chateau Lynch Bages
A sommelier will give you an introduction to the wine growing regions of Bordeaux
as well as the wine making technique You will then have the opportunity to taste
three different wines, learning how to distinguish them by colour, smell &
importantly taste !
Option 4 (20€/p) : Game of 6 wines tasting to discover your "Wine Sign"
The session under the guidance of a sommelier offers the
possibility of finding more about yourself while at the same time
heightening your senses. The event revolves around the tasting of 6
wines all of very different characters. Participants are encouraged to
express their impressions with the help of an electronic vote box. The
information is analysed by a software package. Are you "Trendy",
"Gourmet", "Aesthetic" ...? Unique in the world !
